Celebrate the versatility of the bamboo in the form of musical expression. Filled with cultural activities such as traditional music performances by the Bamboo Music Orchestra, traditional sports, bamboo product exhibits and sales.

In the past the district of Tamparuli are known by a lot of people because of the bridge. Tamparuli is also famous for its weekend market (Tamu). Not only among the visitors but also a great place sported by lyricist writer especially local songs.
Tamparuli is now a pride of the state of Sabah when it held a unique bamboo festival for the past three years also known as Pesta Muzik Bambu (Bamboo Music Festival) started by OMBAK acronym for Orkestra Bambu Kinabalu (Kinabalu Bamboo Associations). This year we also have a beckoning participation from Philippines and Indonesia as bamboo activist from both countries have shown interest in the festival.
Jahid also attributed that the participation of musician from Philippines and Indonesia to this festival co-organised by the Tamparuli District Office and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Sabah is a good platform for unity through diverse cultural festival the theme for this year.
